a large machine used to excavate tunnels. It's an alternative to
traditional drilling and blasting, offering more efficient and less
disruptive tunneling in various ground conditions. TBMs can bore
through rock, soil, and mixed ground, and they can also install
tunnel supports simultaneously.

Cutter Head: The front-most part of the TBM, equipped with rotating
